The Directory of Italian Mechanical and Engineering Companies was created by companies for companies: the project, which was established to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the magazine of ANIMA Confindustria, aims to fully represent key players in the sector, utilising different channels with international reach.

The objective of this census, which will be published in Italian and English, is to create a tool of international promotion, supported by institutions such as the Ministry of Economic Development and the ICE (Italian Trade Agency), the organisation for promotion abroad and internationalisation of Italian companies.

The companies in this sector, which is considered outstanding in the Italian production industry, are the protagonists of this project, both in terms of developing the census and in promoting the Directory. All companies in the industry are asked to confirm their company details already present on this website, in the section "The Directory of Italian Mechanical and Engineering Companies".

Those who wish to will be able to access further innovative promotional tools, which tell their story using data visualisation tools: an infographic and company video in several languages will be included in the multimedia Directory of Italian Mechanical and Engineering Companies. In addition to a digital edition, premium members will also be able to include a presentation of their company in the directory, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the magazine L'Industria Meccanica.
